Originally from Denver Colorado Artist Jon Crocker graduated with a Fine Arts Degree. His career path however led him into Advertising. He established his own successful Agencies, Life for the Crocker family changed forever when both his wife and one of his precious daughters were diagnosed with terminal illnesses. Jon sold up and left the business world to care for them until they both peacefully left this life. Returning to art full time Jon quickly gained recognition and awards for his artwork and portrait paintings.
As a lifelong golfer Jon visited Ireland to play the world famous Links Courses. Immediately inspired with the warmth of the people, the beautiful soft light and the wild Atlantic coastline, he returned often.
On one of these trip Gina Phelan, then working in Communications and Public Relations for many years in Dublin, met Jon. Gina immediately saw that Jon's artistic talents and his passion for golf were the perfect combination for a new business venture and so 'The Art of Golf' was born. Jon and Gina now reside in Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare - where Jon paints in his art studio and Gina runs the business side producing fine art, limited edition, prints of his artworks.
